La Mar (the sea)
I was about to correct you when you
said “la mar.”
I was going to say that “mar” is masculine—
“el mar.”
But you looked at me, and my eyes tripped
into yours and splashed
in the murky blues and grays and greens, the waves
crashing on the shores of your irises
and I stopped and
decided
your eyes knew better
how feminine is the sea.

I saw your gallery and it's amazing! Your art looks so great!
I haven't been here in a while,
awesomely awesome.

Speaking of photography, you are very good at it, so why don't you put a few pieces of your stuff up here?
